A group of persons attacked and killed a watchman when he asked them not to create nuisance at KPHB on Sunday night

Hyderabad: A group of persons attacked and killed a watchman when he asked them not to create nuisance at KPHB on Sunday night.

According to the police, the victim Venkataramana, and his brother Jagadish noticed a group of people allegedly consuming ganja and creating nuisance in the park. Both the brothers went to the spot and asked them not to create nuisance and threatened to take their picture.

“Agitated over it, the group of people attacked Venkataramana leading to his death on the spot,” said KPHB police.

On a complaint, the police registered a case and started efforts to nab the persons who were involved in the crime. Senior police officials visited the spot and are supervising the investigation.
