Hyderabad weather: Day temperature drops as IMD forecasts rain, thunderstorms
Hyderabad recorded a noticeable drop in daytime temperatures on Saturday as overcast skies prevailed. The IMD has forecast light to moderate rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds in the city, while issuing yellow and orange alerts for several Telangana districts.

Hyderabad: Despite the absence of wide-spread rains, maximum temperature across Hyderabad has seen considerable drop on Saturday as overcast skies prevailed in the city.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad said the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 32 degree Celsius and 22 degree Celsius respectively. In the last couple of days, the maximum day temperatures were recorded between 35 degree Celsius and 36 degree Celsius.
While generally cloudy sky will prevail, light to moderate rain or thundershowers at times heavy spells, accompanied with gusty winds of 30-40 kmph, are very likely to occur in the city in the evening or night.
As for districts, IMD issued yellow warning, indicting light rain and thunderstorms, for Kothagudem, Hanamkonda, Hyderabad, Jayanakar Bhupally, Jangaon, Khammam, Kumaram Bheem, Medchal Malkajgiri, Mahabubabad, Mancherial, Mulugu, Nalgonda, Ranga Reddy, Sangareddy, Warangal and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri districts. It also issued an orange warning for Siddipet and Suryapet districts, with moderate rain and thunderstorms.
