Hyderabad: Woman allegedly killed by husband in Bagh Lingampally

A 29-year-old woman was allegedly killed by her husband during a family dispute in Bagh Lingampally on Sunday. Police said the accused attacked her with a grinding stone, causing severe head injuries, and fled the scene.

Hyderabad: A 29-year-old woman was allegedly killed by her husband during a family dispute in Bagh Lingampally on Sunday.

According to the police, the incident occurred at around 11.22 am, near Macherla Jewellery Shop, where Narender (34) allegedly attacked his wife Tejaswi with a grinding stone during an argument. She suffered severe injuries to her head and collapsed at the spot following heavy bleeding.

On receiving information, Chikkadpally police rushed to the scene and found Tejaswi had succumbed to her injuries.

Narender allegedly fled the scene after the incident. The police launched a search for him. The exact motive behind the attack is to be ascertained.
