Hyderabad woman arrested in AQIS link case
Sayeeda Begum was detained in Chanchalguda by Andhra Pradesh Police over alleged AQIS-linked anti-national activities. The operation followed arrests of other accused tied to a foreign handler, with support from Hyderabad police teams

Hyderabad: The Counter Intelligence cell of AP Police detained a woman Sayeeda Begum from Chanchalguda for allegedly indulging in anti-national activities. She stays near Zaikha Hotel, Chanchalguda Road.
A team of the CI cell and Vijayawada police reached the residence of Sayeeda Begum (35) and took her into custody and shifted to Vijaywada.
The AP Police had unearthed a criminal conspiracy and arrested Andhra Pradesh residents Mohammad Rehmatulla Sharif, Mohammad Danish and Mirza Sohail Baig. Rehmatulla Sharif had allegedly came into contact with a foreign handler, namely Al-Hakim Shukoor, through social media.
Al Hakim allegedly instigated him towards jihad and advised him to join hands with Shadman Dilkash of Bihar, and Sayeeda Begum of Hyderabad, who were also allegedly involved in jihadi activities affiliated with the banned terrorist organization AQIS.
A police team from Hyderabad assisted the AP Police in executing the operation.
