Hyderabad: A woman approached the higher officials of Cyberabad Police alleging that her daughter-in-law was responsible for the suicide of her son.
Praveen Kumar (25), a private employee from Sanathnagar had ended his life three days ago by hanging himself from the ceiling fan at his house in Fatehnagar under Sanathnagar police station limits. Praveen was married five years ago to Priya. The police had registered a case and began an investigation.
On Sunday, Praveen’s mother met the higher officials of the Cyberabad Police and alleged that her daughter-in-law was responsible for Praveen’s suicide. “Praveen expressed reservation over his wife getting acquainted with new persons through TikTok and was ignoring him. Due to this there were frequent fights between the couple. Depressed over this, he ended his life,” she complained.
The higher officials assured her that they would investigate the case from all possible angles. However, Priya said that there were no such issues between them.
