Hyderabad: Woman dies by suicide after argument with husband over liquor in Rajendranagar

A housewife, Aruna, died by suicide at her home in Kismatpur, Rajendranagar, after an argument with her husband Shekhar over his liquor consumption. Police said she consumed a poisonous substance mixed with alcohol. A case has been registered

Hyderabad: A housewife died by suicide at Rajendranagar after her husband scolded her when she asked him not to consume liquor.

According to the police, the woman, Aruna, was married to Shekhar and they lived at Kismatpur in Rajendranagar. On Wednesday night, Shekhar scolded his wife when she asked him not to consume too much liquor. “Depressed over it, Aruna took a bottle of liquor kept in the house and mixed some poisonous substance into it. She consumed the liquid and died,” said the police.


A case is registered.
