Hyderabad: Woman dies by suicide at Banjara Hills
The police said Aishwarya (25) and Asher Kumar (26) were in love for nearly two years and recently got married in secret as their families were against their relationship.
Hyderabad: A woman died by suicide allegedly after her lover refused to marry her, in Banjara Hills late on Monday night. The victim also reportedly recorded a selfie-video before ending her life.
The police said Aishwarya (25) and Asher Kumar (26) were in love for nearly two years and recently got married in secret as their families were against their relationship.
However, their elders who later learnt about their marriage convinced them to have a traditional wedding and brought them back home.
However, a few days ago, when she asked Asher about their marriage, he allegedly scolded her and started avoiding.
Allegedly depressed over it, Aishwarya ended her life by hanging in her bedroom. She was found dead by her family members who informed the police.
The Banjara Hills police are investigating.
