Hyderabad: A 50-year-old woman died, reportedly due to a cardiac arrest, while standing in a queue at a Meeseva centre at Tolichowki to apply for the interim relief of Rs 10,000 extended to flood victims by the State government.
The woman, Munawarunnisa, a resident of Golconda, collapsed while standing in the queue and was rushed to a nearby hospital by the locals present there. Doctors at the hospital pronounced her dead. “No case has been registered as the kin of the deceased did not file a complaint with us. The body was shifted to her residence for funeral,” said K Chandra Shekar Reddy, SHO (Golconda).
