Hyderabad: A 21-year-old woman was found hanging in her house in Chandanagar late on Friday. She is suspected to have been upset and died by suicide, police said.

According to the police, Sowjanya, a degree student from Dubai Colony, was visibly upset for the last few days. On Friday evening, in the absence of her parents, Sowjanya ended her life by hanging from the ceiling fan in her bedroom.

Based on a complaint from her father, the Chandanagar police booked a case and are investigating. Her family has raised no suspicion on the death.
