Hyderabad: A woman murdered her husband by stabbing allegedly over family disputes at their house in Kokapet in Narsingi on the city outskirts on Thursday night.

As per available information, the couple — Krishna Jyoti Bora and Bharaka Bora who hailed from Assam and had migrated to Hyderabad, were working as daily wage laborers.

The couple reportedly had frequent disputes, with the husband allegedly harassing his wife over trivial matters for the past several days.

On Thursday midnight, a minor argument escalated into a violent altercation. In a fit of rage, the wife picked up a vegetable knife and repeatedly stabbed her husband.

Locals, alerted by his screams, rushed inside to find him lying in a pool of blood. He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital but succumbed while undergoing treatment.

The Narsingi police reached the spot, registered a murder case, and arrested the woman.
