Hyderabad: A 26-year-old woman, who allegedly left her home with her lover to get married at a sub-registrar office, has reportedly gone missing from Mirjalguda in Malkajgiri here on Tuesday.

The woman, a private employee, was in love with a man from Dilsukhnagar and the couple decided to get married. When they approached their families, they refused, after which the two decided to get married at the sub-registrar’s office.


Accordingly, she informed her parents she was going to the registrar’s office to get married and left the house on Thursday, but did not return.

Her family members, unable to find her, approached the Malkajgiri police. A missing case has been booked and is being investigated.
