Hyderabad: The Nacharam police arrested a woman, who allegedly made her elderly employer blind before stealing valuables from the house.
According to the police, the suspect P Bhargavi, 32, of Mancherial was working as a caretaker for P Hemavathi, 73, in Snehapuri Colony in Nacharam and she allegedly mixed a toilet cleaner in the elderly woman’s eye drops. She then regularly administered the same in her eyes, which resulted in Hemavathi losing her sight.
Bhargavi then stole Rs.40,000 and gold ornaments worth lakhs and concealed them in her clothes.
