Hyderabad: A woman from Hyderabad, Suhasini Reddy Kandimalla, who was reported missing following floods in Nepal, is safe and undergoing treatment at a hospital, her family members said on Saturday.
According to her family, Suhasini herself contacted them over the phone and spoke to them, providing some relief after they had been unable to establish contact with her.
The family said they were informed that she was currently receiving medical treatment at a hospital.
However, there is no official confirmation yet regarding the exact location of Suhasini, the name of the hospital where she is being treated, or her present health condition, the family members informed local media channels.
Her brothers are currently returning to India and are expected to travel to Nepal either on Sunday or Monday. They will try to locate the hospital where Suhasini is being treated and meet her in person, the family said.
Meanwhile, the family is maintaining continuous coordination with Telangana officials and other concerned agencies regarding her whereabouts and well-being. They said further details would be shared with the media as soon as official confirmation is received.
