Hyderabad: A woman from Secunderabad who wanted to sell her old sofa for Rs.6,500 on a prominent e-commerce platform lost Rs. 1.96 lakh to fraudsters here on Wednesday.
According to the police, the victim posted an advertisement on the popular buying and selling portal and uploaded pictures of the sofa, priced at Rs.6,500. One person contacted her, evincing interest to buy the sofa at the price she had quoted.
