Hyderabad: An unidentified person snatched a gold chain from a woman at Saidabad on Tuesday afternoon.
The suspect, who was on a scooter, snatched the gold chain weighing around three tolas from Malathi, 48, who was walking along the road along with another woman in Keshavnagar colony in Saidabad. Police said the suspect had parked his vehicle a little away and suddenly walked towards her, flicked the chain and fled the spot.
Based on a complaint from the victim, the police have registered a case and are investigating. Two special teams were formed to nab the offender.
