Hyderabad: A woman pedestrian died in a road accident at Madhapur on Friday night.
K Madhavi (25), a resident of Barkatpura worked at a company in Madhapur and was returning home after duty. Around 8.30 pm, the victim was crossing Kothaguda crossroads in Madhapur, when a RTC bus hit her from behind.
The victim who sustained injuries was rushed to a private hospital and later shifted to Gandhi Hospital where she died while undergoing treatment early on Saturday, said Madhapur police.
A case is registered against the bus driver and investigation is underway.
