Hyderabad: Women safety awareness drive held at Arundathi Institute
A Women Safety Awareness programme was organised at Arundathi Institute of Medical Sciences with sessions on women empowerment, anti-narcotics awareness and anti-ragging. Hyderabad: A Women Safety Awareness programme was organised at Arundathi Institute of Medical Sciences with a focus on women empowerment, anti-narcotics awareness and anti-ragging measures.
The event was attended by Chairman Marri Laxman Reddy and Principal Dr Chandrasekhar Reddy, along with guests from the Women and Children Safety Wing, Cyberabad and the SHE Team.
Speakers including DCP Srujana, ACP Krishna Prasad, SI Anitha, Inspector Hanuman Goud and SI Ranjith Reddy from Dundigal also joined the event. The programme highlighted the importance of creating a safe and inclusive academic environment.
They stressed women’s safety rights, the consequences of drug abuse, awareness about ongoing cybercrimes and the seriousness of ragging as a punishable offence.
The programme conveyed a strong message encouraging students to speak up against harassment, say no to narcotics and work together to create a respectful and secure campus for all.
