Hyderabad: Hyderabad clinched an emphatic 208-run win over Goa in Round 1 of the Women’s Under-19 One Day Trophy in Kerala on Saturday.
A collective effort from Kavyasree (75), Sandhya Gora (63), Prathiksha (59), and K. Nidhi (56) powered Hyderabad to 316/8 in 50 overs. In reply, Goa crumbled in the chase, getting bundled out for 108 in 41.1 overs.
C Division One Day League
Dheeraj’s figures of 4/21 helped Lal Bahadur PG secure a narrow eight-run win over PPMCC in the HCA C Division One Day League Championship on Saturday. In a low-scoring thriller, Lal Bahadur PG posted 172 in 41.1 overs, with Prashanth (4/3) wreaking havoc for PPMCC. Later, Dheeraj’s impressive bowling performance restricted PPMCC to 164 in 35.5 overs.
