Hyderabad wrestlers make a mark

Wrestlers B Santosh Kumar, Uday Kiran, and Laksh from Ratan Singh Ustad Akhada, Hyderabad won three gold medals each in the Greco-Roman category at the Inter-District College Games.

Hyderabad: Wrestlers B Santosh Kumar, Uday Kiran, and Laksh from Ratan Singh Ustad Akhada, Hyderabad excelled by clinching three gold medals each in the Greco-Roman category at the Inter-District College Games in Hyderabad on Monday.

Santosh is a student at Government Boys Junior College, Nampally, Uday studies at Tapasya Junior College and Laksh attends Vijay Nagar Junior College. In the other events, Abdul Majeed secured gold, with J Kushal and Krishna earning silver medals in the recently concluded School Games in Hyderabad. All six wrestlers are under the guidance of C Sandeep Yadav.
