Hyderabad: The Women Safety Wing (WSW) of Telangana State police will organise an event on Sunday on Tank Bund to create awareness about SHE Teams activities in partnership with Lead Life Foundation, 92.7 Big FM and Aerock Dance Fitness.
The event was planned on Tank Bund as traffic will not be allowed on Sunday to make Sundays as fundays for families thereby making it an immersive and enjoyable experience. Several activities like Zumba, self plays and self-defence techniques among others will be conducted during the session on Sunday.
The wing plans to conduct awareness sessions on the lakeside stretch of Hussainsagar on Sundays to enthrall the crowd with fun and educate them towards the vision of ‘gender equal’ State ensuring the safety, dignity and empowerment of women and children.
The wing is a State-level vertical of Telangana police looking after the safety and security of the women and children from a 360 degrees perspective.
