Hyderabad: Yashoda Hospitals hosts international cardiology workshop, showcases advanced heart procedures
Yashoda Hospitals launched a two-day international cardiology conference and workshop, showcasing advanced treatments like TAVR, laser angioplasty, and intravascular imaging. Cardiologists from India and abroad discussed cutting-edge innovations in heart care and non-surgical valve replacement procedures.
Hyderabad: A two-day International Conference & Live Workshop on ‘The most Advanced Interventional Cardiology’ participated by cardiologists from across the country and abroad and showcasing latest treatments of heart ailments, opened at Yashoda Hospitals – Hitec City on Saturday.
Inaugurating the workshop, Dr.G.S.Rao, MD, Yashoda Hospitals, Yashoda groups plans to unveil centers of excellence in all fields of medical care. “This Interventional Cardiology Conference and Live Workshop covering a range of issues from preventive cardiology with sessions on new therapies for high cholesterol to cutting edge technologies like intra vascular imaging for clearing heart blockages laser assisted angioplasty use of tools such as rotablation and orbital atherectomy for plaque modification during angioplasty,” he said.
Dr. V. Rajasekhar, Senior Cardiologist and Clinical director Yashoda Hitech City said,
“in this Conference, Experts also discussed about the advances in non surgical replacement of heart valves through TAVR procedure and repair or mitral valve with special clips.”
