Hyderabad: Youngster kidnapped from Mailardevpally

Hyderabad: A youngster, who recently got engaged, was allegedly kidnapped from King’s Colony in Mailardevpally on the city outskirts early on Saturday morning. Police suspect a youngster who was in love with the victim’s fiancee could be behind the kidnap.

The victim, Nadeem Khan (28), who was on his way home on his motorcycle, was stopped by a group of youngsters who picked up an argument with him and forcibly took him away.

Sources said Khan was recently engaged with a girl in the presence of the elders of both families. Police suspect that another youngster, reportedly in love with the girl, could have kidnapped him.

Based on a complaint from Nadeem’s family, a case has been booked and investigation is on.
