Hyderabad: A youngster, who sent a message to his father on WhatsApp saying he was going to die, was found hanging in his room at KPHB on Sunday.
The victim, T. Bharath Kumar (21), a resident of Dharma Reddy Colony in KPHB and native of Tegadapally village in Jagityal district, had completed his degree and came to Hyderabad a few months ago in search of a job. For the last two months, he was working at a private company.
According to the police, late on Saturday night, Bharath sent a WhatsApp message to his father Shankar saying “I want to die. Please do not disturb me”.
Shankar tried to contact Bharath, but the latter did not respond. On Sunday early morning, Bharath again sent a message to his father saying “Come and pick my body, bye, miss you all, bye daddy” and shared his location on WhatsApp. His father rushed to Hyderabad and with the help of the police, traced his location. They found him hanging from the ceiling fan, police said, adding that preliminary investigation indicated that he was facing financial problems. However, a probe was on in all possible angles.
Based on a complaint from Shankar, the KPHB police have booked a case.
