Hyderabad: A youngster, who attacked a girl for rejecting his proposal a month ago, died, allegedly by suicide, in his house at Jeedimetla on Tuesday night.
B Prem Singh, 21, was found hanging to the ceiling fan in his house by his family members.
Singh was arrested last month after he barged into the house of a girl in Gachibowli on October 28 and slit her wrist and hands. Her rejection of his proposal is said to provoked the attack.
The girl’s relatives had caught him and handed him over to the police. According to the police, after coming out on bail, Singh was staying at his house in Jeedimetla. On Tuesday night, he was found hanging from the ceiling fan in the house.
Relatives told the police that ever since returning home from jail, Singh was upset and could have hanged himself.
A case has been registered and investigation is on.
