Hyderabad Youth Assembly 2025: A platform for youth to discuss UNSDGs and drive change

​Under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Lasya Vankadari, the assembly facilitated thought-provoking discussions and debates among students. The primary focus was on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), with participants concentrating on four pivotal objectives: Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-Being, Clean Water and Sanitation, and Decent Work and Economic Growth.​

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Youth Assembly, organized by OC and Street Cause Hyderabad, was held at the MCRHRD, Jubilee Hills. This event brought together 100 bright students from over 45 colleges across the city, selected to participate in the 14th season of this impactful assembly.

The Chairperson for this season, Ms. Lasya Vankadari, guided the assembly where students came together to engage in thought-provoking discussions and debates. The focus of the assembly was on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), with participants concentrating on four critical goals: Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-Being, Clean Water and Sanitation, and Decent Work and Economic Growth.

The event was graced by distinguished chief guests, Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, Distinguished Civil Servant and Special Chief Secretary of IT, and Dr. Vineeth Ganganna, IPS Officer, who shared valuable insights on how the youth can contribute to the betterment of society through focused and impactful actions.

Over the next three months, members of the Hyderabad Youth Assembly will take proactive steps to execute projects across the state of Telangana, focusing on supporting underprivileged communities. Their efforts will aim to create lasting change and help bring about meaningful improvements in the lives of those who need it most.

The Hyderabad Youth Assembly remains committed to empowering youth to be agents of change, fostering collaboration, and making a tangible impact in line with the UNSDGs.
