Hyderabad: Youth crushed to death by auto trolley in Musheerabad

A 21-year-old man from Medak died after an auto trolley allegedly rammed into and dragged him near a warehouse in Musheerabad on Wednesday evening. Police registered a case, shifted the body for post-mortem and took the auto rickshaw driver into custody.

Hyderabad: A 21-year-old man died in an accident at Musheerabad on Wednesday evening.

The victim, Mohd Lafeef Khan (21), a resident of Medak, had come to purchase aluminium sheets at a store in Musheerabad. “The shopkeeper directed Lafeef to the warehouse. While the man was waiting, an auto trolley rammed into him and dragged him for some distance. He was crushed to death,” the police said.


On a complaint, the police registered a case and started an investigation. The body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital mortuary for post-mortem examination. The auto rickshaw driver was taken into custody.
