Hyderabad: Youth dies by suicide at hotel room over suspected love failure

The victim, identified as K Rajesh (22), a native of Narayanapet who was working for a private company in Hyderabad was preparing for competitive exams.

Hyderabad: A youth died, allegedly by suicide, in the room of a hotel at Ram Nagar in Amberpet on Monday early hours. A love failure is suspected to be the reason for the suicide.

The victim, identified as K Rajesh (22), a native of Narayanapet who was working for a private company in Hyderabad was preparing for competitive exams.


Rajesh, who is suspected to have been upset over his love failure hanged from the ceiling fan in the hotel room. The hotel staff, who grew suspicious, alerted the police, who reached the spot and forcibly opened the door.

The Amberpet police are investigating. The body was shifted to the Osmania General Hospital for autopsy.
