Hyderabad: Youth ends life after losing money in online share market

According to the police, Akhilesh Reddy, 24, from Surya Nagar in Hayathnagar, completed his BTech and began investing in the online share market for better returns. However, he recently faced significant losses, as most of the shares he purchased declined in value, resulting in a loss of about ₹25 lakh.

Hyderabad: Upset over loss in online share market trading, a youth died by suicide in his house in Hayathnagar on Thursday.

According to the police, Akhilesh Reddy (24), from Surya Nagar in Hayathnagar completed BTech and started investing in online share market for good returns.


However, recently, most of the shares which he had bought had seen a down fall incurring about Rs 25 lakh to him.

He was upset over it and died by suicide by hanging in the house in the absence of the family members.

On receiving information, the Hayathnagar police reached the spot and have taken up investigation.

A suicide note was found which read loss in share market trading was the reason for his death.

The body was shifted to the hospital for autopsy.
