Hyderabad: Youth goes missing after falling into quarry pit while filming reels

The incident took place on Sunday evening when one of the four youths who had visited Malkaram Hills in Jawaharnagar for a photo shoot allegedly slipped into a quarry pit and went missing.

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a youth went missing in a quarry pit in Jawaharnagar

The incident occurred on Sunday evening when one of the four youths who had come to Malkaram Hills in Jawaharnagar reportedly for a photo shoot accidentally fell into a quarry pit and went missing.


According to the police and locals, Ethin Naidu (20), a degree student from Trimulgherry came to Malkaram hills for a photo shoot along with three other friends on Sunday afternoon.

Ethin Naidu reportedly was recording reels for his social media account on the hills when he accidentally fell into the quarry pit which was filled with water and drowned.His friends immediately informed the police.

The Jawaharnagar police reached the spot and started a rescue operation with the help of expert divers and DRF teams until night, but could not trace him.

The police said the rescue operation will continue on Monday.
