Hyderabad youth hangs self at Khammam lodge

Khammam: A youth from the State capital allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at a lodge here on Sunday.
The deceased, identified as Kosireddy Anil Kumar (27), belongs to Vallaprolu in Qutubullapur mandal of Medchal-Malkajgiri district under the GHMC limits. He was staying at Mayuri Lodge since December 20 last, police said.
A room attendant who noticed that Anil Kumar had not left his room through the day, knocked on his room door. When he failed to get any response, the attendant peeped into the room through a ventilator and found Anil Kumar hanging from a ceiling fan, police added.
Sub-Inspector of Police Sathar visited the spot and informed the deceased youth’s family members. Financial problems were said to be the reason for the youth’s extreme step. The police launched an investigation into the incident after registering a case.
