Hyderabad: Youth jailed for killing father

A local court on Friday sentenced a youth to life imprisonment for killing his father under influence of drugs at their house in Adibatla. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 1,000 on him.

Hyderabad: A local court on Friday sentenced a youth to life imprisonment for killing his father under influence of drugs at their house in Adibatla. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 1,000 on him.

T Anurag (25), from Turkayamjal in Ranga Reddy district, who bore a grudge against his father T Ravinder for reprimanding him to quit drug consuming, doused him with petrol and set ablaze. Ravinder suffered severe burns and died.

The Adibatla police booked a case and arrested Anurag.
