Hyderabad: A day after booking a case against a YouTuber for his reckless stunt of tossing a bundle of currency notes on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) stretch for grabbing views for his ‘money hunt’ game, the Ghatkesar police arrested him on Wednesday.
The arrested person was identified as Bhanu Chander Reddy from Balanagar, whose mindless and dangerous act went viral on social media and led to a police case for endangering life of road users and creating public nuisance.
In the video which became viral on Wednesday, and originally posted on Instagram, Bhanu Chander, clad in a t-shirt and jeans is seen holding bundles of currency notes on the ORR.
He then quite nonchalantly throws a bundle of currency notes saying that amount is Rs. 20,000 and everybody is welcome to track it down and collect the money. In the background the location is shown as Exit 9 of ORR.
