Hyderabadi biryani lover asks KTR where his “extra masala” is

Hyderabad: Be it a request for a bed or an oxygen concentrator, IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao has actively responded to tweets requesting him to fulfill the need, that too in no time. The Minister, who has always been helpful to people seeking help from him on Twitter, has been taking requests round the clock since the beginning of the second Covid-19 wave.
On Friday, however, a Twitter user by the name Thotakuri Raghupathi, tweeted to the Minister with a bizarre request. Raghupathi, who seemed quite distressed over the Hyderabadi biryani he got, tweeted to Zomato and KT Rama Rao, about his “plight”.
Sharing a photo of the chicken biryani that he got, the user said he had neither received “extra masala” nor the “leg piece” as he had requested at the time of ordering. The diappointed Raghupathiwanted to know whether this was the way to serve the people.
“I ordered chicken biryani with extra masala and leg piece but I didn’t get any of them, is this the way to serve people @zomatoin @KTRTRS,” (sic) his tweet read.
Responding quickly to the strange question thrown at him by Raghunath, Minister KTR wondered as to why he was tagged in the post and also asked the former what was expected of him in this regard.

Joining the thread in no time, Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi came up with a witty comment saying “@KTRoffice must immediately respond, must say that @MinisterKTR &his team have been responding to the medical needs of people during this pandemic mashallah”

Just as Twitter was beginning to enjoy the biryani banter, Raghupathi seemed to have developed cold feet and deleted the tweet. But, not before we got a screenshot of it and over 3,000 people liking the tweet.
Interestingly, apart from the biryani tweet, Rao has been getting requests for help from across the country. On Thursday, one Twitter user asked him for help to get an Amphotericin B injection in Gujarat. The Minister, who has been helping many in Telangana with such requests, responded and tagged Union Minister Mansukh L Mandaviya, who is also a Rajya Sabha member from Gujarat, requesting him to take care of the patient.
