Hyderabadi cyclist Aashirwad Saxena selected for Asian Road Cycling Championship 2025

Hyderabad: Aashirwad Saxena, a professional cyclist of the Telangana State Cycling Association has been selected to represent the Indian Cycling Team to participate in the 44th Asian Road Cycling Championship to be held in Phitsanulok, Thailand from February 9 to 16.

The tournament is slated to bring together nearly 500 excellent cyclists from the continent, including professional national teams, U23 and U18 youth teams, and senior athletes competing in the master category, a press release said.


Aashirwad, an international cyclist from Hyderabad, is one of the members of the Indian contingent who were trainees of VN Singh, coach of the Indian Team. He recently secured a Bronze Medal in the 38th National Games and performed well in that event as a Road Rider.
