Hyderabad’s Avik Neogi, Subhamitra Chatterjee for World Masters Games

Two Hyderabad athletes - Avik Neogi and Subhamitra Chatterjee - have been selected to represent India in the World Masters Games in Taipei from May 17 to 30

Hyderabad: Two Hyderabad athletes – Avik Neogi and Subhamitra Chatterjee – have been selected to represent India in the World Masters Games in Taipei from May 17 to 30.

Avik will compete in the 100m, 200m and hotput in the 40 years & above category. He secured gold in 100m and 200m in the 2023 National Masters.

Subhamitra will participate in the heptathlon, 100m , and aquathon in the 40 years & above category. She earlier won gold in the 5km race walk and 400m hurdles in the 2023 National Masters.
