Hyderabad’s coolest morning yet, Rajendranagar hits 15.4°C on Monday

BHEL Factory followed closely, recording 15.6 degrees Celsius. Other areas in the city also witnessed a drop in temperature, with Quthbullapur logging 16.4 degrees Celsius and West Maredpally 16.7 degrees Celsius.

Hyderabad: Rajendranagar experienced the lowest temperature in Hyderabad so far this season, as mercury levels dipped to 15.4 degrees Celsius in the early hours of Monday, according to the India Meteorological Department.

BHEL Factory followed closely, recording 15.6 degrees Celsius. Other areas in the city also witnessed a drop in temperature, with Quthbullapur logging 16.4 degrees Celsius and West Maredpally 16.7 degrees Celsius.


Gachibowli and Sivarampalle both recorded temperatures of 16.9 degrees Celsius.

Overall, the average minimum temperature in the city settled at 18.2 degrees Celsius, slightly below the seasonal average of 18.5 degrees Celsius.

The forecast indicates partly cloudy skies with haze till Tuesday, with temperatures ranging from 18 degrees Celsius to 32 degrees Celsius.

Light rain or drizzle is expected on Wednesday and Thursday, as temperatures slightly rise to 20 degrees Celsius for the minimum and 31 degrees Celsius for the maximum.
