Hyderabad: Indian martial arts has marked a historic milestone as Hanshi Shaswat Kumar of Hyderabad, founder of Senkoukai Karate, has created history by becoming the first Indian Grand Master to receive multiple prestigious global karate awards for founding an independent karate system.
Hanshi Shaswat Kumar is internationally recognised for developing Senkoukai Karate, a powerful and original India-origin karate style, which blends traditional Budo philosophy with modern scientific combat techniques.
His fearless leadership, innovative approach, and combat-oriented system have earned him recognition among leading martial arts authorities worldwide.
Prestigious International Recognition
The World Karate Grand Legend Award and World Karate System Recognition were officially issued by Prof. ISGM. Dinh Ngoc Huy, Ph.D, a 10th Dan Black and Red Belt Grand Master from Vietnam, through an ISO-certified international martial arts organisation.
In addition, the World Martial Arts Legend Award and World 100-Man Kumite Achievement Award were conferred from Indonesia by Brahma Guru Henri Hendarto, Founding Father of SABUNG KENKI, a highly respected Indonesian 10th Dan Grand Master.

International officials stated that these honours were awarded specifically for Senkoukai Karate, recognising it as a unique, independent, and India-origin karate system that is rapidly gaining worldwide recognition.
