Hyderabad:Nizam College students on Friday staged a protest over the college management refusing hostel accommodation to several eligible candidates.
Students alleged that despite meeting the eligibility criteria, there was a delay in allocation, which was unfair and disruptive.
The recent closure of the college mess due to financial issues has worsened the situation, causing serious inconvenience, especially for those students staying on campus.
Recognising this, ABVP has taken the lead in raising these concerns, organising peaceful representations and demanding urgent administrative action, the ABVP said in a press release.
Continued inaction on these issues shows a troubling lack of accountability. When core services fail under an institution’s leadership, a change in approach — and sometimes in leadership itself — becomes necessary, it added.
