Hyderabad’s Sreemanya Reddy clinches doubles title at AITA Women’s Tennis Tournament

Hyderabad: The 16-year-old A. Sreemanya Reddy has clinched the doubles title in the AITA Women’s tennis tournament in Navi Mumbai.

The Hyderabad girl teamed up with Danica Fernando to down Hyderabad duo of Sanjana Sirimalla and Omna Yadav with a 7-5, 6-3 win in the final on Thursday.

Adding to her stellar run–her impressive performance in the tournament doesn’t stop there—she has also secured a place in the singles final, where she will go head-to-head against her doubles partner, Danica Fernando.

Sreenanya stormed through the semifinal, defeating Gia Pereira with a flawless 6-0, 6-0 scoreline.
