Hyderabad’s Thaniya for U-14 Worlds
The 13 –year-old Thaniya has made it to the Indian team by being No.3 in the under-14 girls rankings. The other two members of the team are Aishwarya Dayanand Jadhav and Sohini Sanjay Mohanty.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad tennis player Thaniya Sarai Gogulamanda has been selected into the Indian under-14 junior team that will compete in the upcoming U-14 Junior ITF World Junior Tennis Championship, final qualifying event to be held in New Delhi from April 18 to 23.
The 13 –year-old Thaniya has made it to the Indian team by being No.3 in the under-14 girls rankings. The other two members of the team are Aishwarya Dayanand Jadhav and Sohini Sanjay Mohanty.
“I feel very happy to be able to make it to the Indian team. This has been my goal since the start of the year. Now that I made it to the Indian team, I want to showcase my talent and do well for the country,” added the youngster who dreams of winning Grand Slams in the future.
She had represented India in the ITF World Junior Tennis Championship Asia/Oceania final qualifying round matches held in Kazakhstan last year when she was 12 years.
