HYDRAA Commissioner’s gunman attempts suicide in Hyderabad
The personal security officer of the HYDRAA Commissioner allegedly attempted suicide by shooting himself with his service pistol at his Hayathnagar residence in Hyderabad. Police said the officer was depressed due to financial losses linked to betting and gaming apps.
Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, M Krishna Chaitanya, the personal security officer of HYDRAA Commissioner, AV Ranganath attempted suicide by shooting himself with his service pistol at his house in Hayathnagar on Sunday early. He was shifted to hospital and his condition is stated to be critical.
According to the police, Chaitanya, is working with the City Security Wing Hyderabad city police was posted at gunman of the HYDRAA Commissioner. The Hayathnagar police said Chaitanya took his service weapon and shot himself in the head reportedly due to personal issues.
Officials have learnt that Chaitanya slipped into depression due to financial problems after having lost a huge amount of money in betting and gaming apps. He had left his house three months ago due to depression but later returned. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
