HYDRAA ends search for man missing after stormwater drain fall
Hydraa and the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation have called off search operations for 70-year-old Balaiah, who went missing after reportedly falling into a stormwater drain work site in Miyapur. Despite extensive searches and drone deployment, his body is yet to be traced.

Hyderabad: Nearly a week after a 70-year-old man, Balaiah, a resident of Prem Nagar in Hafeezpet, was reported missing, search operations in Hyderabad have been called off as his body is yet to be traced.
The DRF teams of the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (Hydraa) and the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) carried out extensive searches after the man reportedly fell into a stormwater drain work site at Vaishali Nagar in Miyapur on the night of July 28. However, with no clue to his whereabouts, the Hydraa and CMC teams have stopped the operation.
Hydraa also deployed drones as part of the search, but the man could not be located, a senior Hydraa official told Telangana Today on Monday. The search operation was called off as his body was yet to be traced, the official said.
