Hyderabad: BJP MP DK Aruna accused Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection Authority (HYDRAA) of involvement in selective demolitions and creating confusion and anxiety among the people.

Speaking to the media on Friday, Aruna alleged that the HYDRAA was targeting poor and middle class people and demolishing their houses without providing relief or compensation to them.

“HYDRAA is serving notices to rich and powerful people and providing them enough time to seek legal aid. Whereas poor and middle class houses were being demolished without giving time,”she alleged.

Coming down heavily on Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, she alleged that the Chief Minister was using HYDRAA to divert the attention of the people from Six Guarantees and crop loan waiver.

“CM supported construction of houses on the banks of Musi River and buffer zones of lakes in the past and now he is demolishing them for political gains,”she alleged.
