Hyderabad: Teams of the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (Hydraa) on Saturday reclaimed parklands at two locations including Padmashri Hills Colony and P&T Colony, under the Bandlaguda Jagir Municipality limits.
According to officials, a 2,600-square-yard park area in Padmashri Hills Colony, earmarked for park development, had been encroached upon by adjacent landowners. When municipal officials attempted to construct a boundary wall to develop the park, the landowners objected, halting the work.
The agency also reclaimed another 1,112-square-yard park area in D Block of the neighbouring P&T Colony from encroachers, the release added.
