Hysea to set up Cloud CoE in Hyderabad
It would contribute to strengthening the cloud ecosystem with objectives towards enhancing knowledge, building employable skills and supporting startups
Hyderabad: To enable the growth of the cloud ecosystem in Telangana, Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (Hysea) has announced the setting up of a Cloud Centre of Excellence (CoE). The Hysea Cloud CoE would contribute to strengthening the cloud ecosystem with objectives towards enhancing knowledge, building employable skills, supporting startups, fostering a culture of research, and providing infrastructure for creating products, testing and delivery.
The CoE is a coming together of various parts of the ecosystem – industry, government, cloud technology and service providers, startups, incubators and academicians. Its key activities will include tech talks, bootcamps, and research support, enable government policy creation to support cloud adoption, and coordination with cloud service providers.
Inaugurating the CoE, the Telangana IT department principal secretary Jayesh Ranjan listed out the importance of setting up the Cloud CoE and assured all help from the government in making this initiative a success. He said, “Today is a milestone day for us in the technology world as we add this important Cloud CoE in our State which already hosts CoEs’ related to Data Sciences/AI, Cybersecurity, Animation and Gaming, and e-Waste. Importance of cloud is becoming more and more prominent, and, in this context, I am delighted that Hysea has set up Cloud CoE.”
Bharani K Aroll, president, Hysea and CEO, Infopeers, speaking on the occasion shared his vision of Fostering innovation ecosystem conducive to the growth of IT Industry in Hyderabad. He said, “The concept of Hysea Cloud COE evolved from the fact that we need a neutral entity that will help create and support an Innovation ecosystem promoting adoption of cloud technologies.”
