The Deccan Warriors defeated Churchill Brothers FC in their previous game with a 2-1 scoreline, while Rajasthan United FC staged a comeback to defeat Namdhari FC 3-1 in their last encounter. Speaking ahead of the match, SDFC head coach Rui Amorim said, “I am happy about the dedication of the players I see every day. The unity in every session tells me that we are ready for the big fight that every match brings. We are counting on the strong support from our fans to make the Deccan Arena a fortress.”
The Portuguese coach also shared his thoughts on their opponents, Rajasthan United FC, and said, “They are a tough opponent with a good coach and quality players, and we will have another competitive game tomorrow.”
Defender Eli Sabia, known for his towering presence in the Deccan Warriors’ backline, emphasised the team’s hard work and dedication. He said, “It is the moment to forget about what has happened in the past and look into the future. We have to play better, believe in our hard work, stay together, and of course, give our hundred percent in every game.” Sreenidi Deccan FC have emerged victorious in three of their last four fixtures against Rajasthan United FC and will be eager to extend this winning run.
