IACG, Kyoto Seika University tie up for student, faculty exchange

IACG signed an MoU with Kyoto Seika University, Japan, for student and faculty exchange. The pact aims to boost Telangana’s global opportunities in anime and manga through industry–academia linkages, JETRO partnerships, and creative curriculum development

Hyderabad: The International Academy of Computer Graphics (IACG) and Kyoto Seika University, Japan, have signed an MoU for student and faculty exchange between India and Japan.

One of key outcomes of agreement is industry-academia linkages to bring global best practices to Telangana. Also, outsourcing and talent opportunities facilitated by JETRO (Japan External Trade Organisation) and global placements for Telangana-trained talent in the Manga & Anime sector


Young India Skill University Vice Chancellor VLVSS Subba Rao said, “With AI spreading fast, the education system must move to a revolving curriculum that adapts to change.”

Kyoto Seika University Centre for Research on Contemporary African and Asian Cultures Director Shin Matsumura pointed out that Japan’s ageing population urgently needs young Indian talent in the creative industries.

IACG Multimedia College Founder and Managing Director Rama Krishna Polina noted India’s potential: “We are in the age of AI Generative, VR, AR, and automation. India’s cultural heritage—our 3 crore gods—offers unlimited storytelling opportunities.”

An intermediate in CGA (Computer Graphics & Animation) was launched on the occasion, designed for students with artistic, storytelling, and creative ambitions.
