IAF’s Navigation, Weapon Systems courses conclude at Begumpet Air Force Station
The Navigation Training School and Weapon Systems School at Begumpet held a valedictory ceremony for Advanced Navigation, ab-initio Navigation and Weapon Systems courses. Hyderabad: Navigation Training School and Weapon Systems School organised a valedictory ceremony of No-109ᵗʰ Advance Navigation Course (ANC), No-141ˢᵗ ab-initio Navigation Course, and Stage-II & III Weapon System (WS) course at Air Force Station Begumpet here on Saturday.
Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Intelligence) Air Vice Marshal Sanjeev Kumar Taliyan was the reviewing officer for the function. The graduating course of 109ᵗʰ ANC comprised seven officers, including two officers from Indian Navy, one from Indian Coast Guard and one officer from Royal Malaysian Air Force. These officers would be stepping out as instructors and taking up instructional assignments in their respective services.
Similarly, 141ˢᵗ ab-initio Navigation Course comprised five flight cadets of IAF and one officer from Sri Lankan Air Force. Meritorious trainees of all the courses were awarded trophies, medals and certificates, a press release said.
The flight cadets, who completed their training at NTS and WSS, would be commissioned as officers in the IAF during the Combined Graduation Parade scheduled to be held at Air Force Academy, Dundigal, on December 13, it added.
