IAS transfers in Telangana: Sircilla Collector shifted to Transport after High Court rap
Telangana government transfers IAS officers, shifting Sircilla Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha to Transport after High Court rebuke. M. Haritha takes over as Collector, Rajanna-Sircilla, while other senior officers, including Raghunandan Rao, K Haritha, and Surendra Mohan, receive key postings and additional charges.
Hyderabad: The State Government has transferred a few IAS transfers on Saturday, with Rajanna-Sircilla Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha, who was repeatedly pulled up by the High Court being shifted to the Transport, Roads and Building department.
Jha had run into trouble with his blatant disregard of the High Court’s orders, with the court categorically calling his actions an abuse of the process of law.
As for the other transfers, Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi, Principal Secretary, Commercial Taxes & Excise Department was placed in Full Additional Charge (FAC) as Principal Secretary, General Administration Department duly relieving M Raghunandan Rao from FAC of the said post.
Raghunandan Rao, Secretary, Agriculture & Co-operation Department was transferred and posted as Commissioner, Commercial Taxes as K Haritha was transferred. He was also placed in FAC of the post of Commissioner, Transport as K Surendra Mohan is transferred.
Surendra Mohan was posted as Secretary, Agriculture & Co-operation Department. He will continue to hold the FAC posts of Commissioner for Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies and Director, Marketing.
M Haritha, Special Secretary, Education Department is transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Rajanna-Sircilla in place of Sandeep Kumar Jha.
K Haritha was posted as Special Secretary to Government, Finance Department.
