Hyderabad: Allu Arjun and “Pushpa” are literally everywhere. And, everyone is riding the “Pushpa” wave. Now, the icon star’s fame has reached a new level. He is now on the central government’s twitter handles.
Information & Broadcasting Ministry has shared a meme on Allu Arjun’s “Pushpa” to spread COVID-19 awareness. And, this craze is unbelievable. In a tweet shared by I&B Ministry, posted by the ministry’s Twitter page ‘#IndiaFightsCorona @COVIDNewsByMIB’ which shares updates on COVID-19, Allu Arjun’s character from the film “Pushpa” is seen wearing a mask.
The photograph of the icon star from the movie is used to spread message among people to wear a mask and stay safe, even if it is Delta or Omicron. The caption says, “#Pushpa..#PushpaRaj ho ya koi bhi, Our fight against #COVID19 is still on!”. And, the actor seems to be saying “Delti Ho Ya Omicron. Main Mask Utaarega Nahin”. This is an innovative use of the trend to reach people.

Also, the Ministry of Railways sharing the same meme on its twitter handle, captioned it, “Jo Mask pahnega, Wo Corona ke aage JHUKEGA NAHI…”.
Both the government twitter handles persuade people to embrace mask to curb the pandemic. They also advise people to follow Covid appropriate behaviour like hand-washing, physical distancing and vaccination, which are critical to limit the spread of Covid.
The craze for “Pushpa” and Allu Arjun’s character Pushpa Raj has been phenomenal from the time the movie hit the screens.
